Here are some notes from our San Diego Sanda Kung Fu class. In today's tutorial, we are discussing how to catch a Muay Thai round kick and respond with a sanda shuai-chiao style throw or takedown.

A common error is to reach out and attempt to snatch the leg mid-kick. This is a high risk method as the kicking trajectory can be misjudged while compromising your own defenses.
