Train Hard. Live Long.

Shifu Michael Dasargo has been training 7 Star Praying Mantis Kung Fu since 1992. In 2001, he began learning Yang Taijiquan (Abraham Liu lineage) with Sifu Steve Martin, and later with Sifu Jim Keefner.

Upon exploring the commonalities and unique characteristics of Chen, Wu, Hao, Yang, and Sun Taiji, Shifu Dasargo concluded that the changes are based on tactical preferences as determined by the physical characteristics of the creators, as well as the political-social pressures for the associated time period.

Although he pays homage to his lineage, Shifu Dasargo teaches the whole of Taijiquan as a martial art founded on principles and training methods that are based on the unique physical characteristics of the students.
